Rubino & Liang, LLC.
Industry leaders that provide you solutions to achieve a successful retirement.

Rule # 1 – Just don’t lose the money. Rule #2 – Don’t forget Rule #1.
Our firm is equipped to deal with the myriad of challenges facing today’s pre- and post-retirees face. In the past, estate planning meant something as simple as getting a new will. Today, estate planning could be considered estate management. This could include anything from updating your old will to protecting your estate from estate taxes. It could also mean making sure you have enough money at retirement, or protecting your house from a nursing home disaster.
Our approach is simple: We offer real solutions to today’s problems. We want to make sure you don’t outlive your money and that your assets, both money and real estate, are protected for you and your family.

The Team Behind Rubino & Liang
Sam Liang, Managing Partner
In 1974, at the young age of 9, Sam immigrated with his parents to the US from Hong Kong. He spent his first year in the states learning English while enrolled in elementary school. During his college days at UMass Lowell, he worked many jobs to pay for his tuition, and was awarded the prestigious Francis Lowell Cabot award for Young Alumni of the Year.
Sam understands what it means to work hard. That's why he's passionate about helping his clients keep what they've worked hard for all of their lives so they can enjoy a worry-free retirement. He's been doing this since 1990. In the early years, when Sam and Rich started their company, it was just the two of them, a desk and a phone. Fast forward twenty-five years to today, they have partners, lawyers, CPAs, and a full staff ready to help their clients retire comfortably. Together, Rich and Sam have helped thousands of people from all walks of life, from the regular folks just trying to get by with what they have, to millionaire business owners.
Some of Sam’s past achievements include being the recipient of the 1999 Boston Business Journal’s 40 Under 40 award, given to 40 business and civic leaders in the greater Boston area for their outstanding accomplishments in their business communities. In 2000, he also received the prestigious Francis Lowell Cabot award as the Alumni of the Year for the University of Massachusetts – Lowell.
In 1999, Sam was named one of the rising "40 under 40" in greater Boston in the Boston Business Journal. He was also awarded the prestigious Five Star Wealth Manager award. His work has been featured in FOX business, Fortune, MSNBC, Money, the Boston Globe and Boston Herald. Along with Emmy award reporter Susan Wornick, he has contributed to FOX television’s show Around Town, as well as other TV appearances. He's the co-author of two books, No Blood, No Money and Just Don’t Lose the Money.
Sam's proudest accomplishment is his family – his wife, Eileen and their four children, Devin, Samantha, Ethan and Harrison. He lives in Bedford, MA, and enjoys traveling with his family in his spare time (and attempts to play golf).
